Brookhaven Town Hosts Business Expo
Local businesses and state business organizations meet under one roof in networking event.
More than 450 business people and 90 vendors descended upon Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville recently for the town's Ninth Annual Building Business in Brookhaven Expo.
The event, which attracts local businesses and vendors that support them, is intended to help boost business opportunities and provide updated information on how businesses can continue to succeed.
The attendees were treated to a presentation from business author Jeff Goldberg. Meanwhile, local business owners were interviewed on camera as part of a video series to be aired on Cablevision's public access Channel 18 in the coming weeks.
The expo, in its ninth year running, was made possible through the efforts of the Brookhaven Business Advisory Council, the New York State Business Development Center, Miller Business Resource Center, Town of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency, Brookhaven National Laboratory and the Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Council.
