Panther, the missing black lab mix that disappeared from a Selden family last Saturday, has been found, according to Sharyn Glowatz, who initially contacted Patch. The dog was found in the gated community of Bretton Woods, off Mooney Pond Road in Coram.
, as a team of volunteers canvassed the area to find him. Rescue group "For Our Friends" even pitched in to find Panther.
According to Glowatz, Panther appears to be in good physical condition, pending an examination at the vet tonight. The 1-and-a-half year old dog is actually up for adoption since his owner is no longer able to take care of him. He was in a temporary foster home and became spooked the night he ran off.
