Sachem Middle Schooler Rocks Holtsville Tree Lighting
12-year-old takes center stage at lighting ceremony in the Holtsville Ecology Center.
Click the YouTube clip in our gallery to watch Kaitlyn Poli, a 12-year-old rising musical star as she sings "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bell Rock" earlier this month at the Holtsville Ecology Center tree lighting festival.
Poli, a middle school student at Sagamore, uploads her performances to her own YouTube channel. The tree lighting ceremony took place this year on December 14. The Ecology Center recenty won a long budget battle with the Town of Brookhaven in order to remain open after cuts threatened its closure.
