Sachem Alum Jason Trawick Engaged to Britney Spears

Sachem alum and talent agent Jason Trawick officially proposed to Britney Spears Thursday night, according to multiple entertainment websites.

Spears, who has two children from a previous marriage to Kevin Federline, will wed for the third time. No date has been set. She and Trawick have been together since 2009.

On Friday morning Spears sent out a tweet reading, “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!!”

According to TMZ, Trawick, who graduated from Sachem in 1990 and was a defenseman on the hockey team, organized a sizable party in Las Vegas to celebrate the big news. Sadly, Sachem Patch was not invited. If we get an invite to the wedding, we'll provide coverage.

In a poll on Sachem Patch last month asking who the community thought was the most famous Sachem alum of all-time, Trawick finished fifth in voting with 5 percent of the votes.

Trawick is a talent agent at William Morris in Los Angeles. He was the agent for Spears until 2009. His mother Susan was a teacher at Seneca Middle School for years.
