Local author Joan Tobin has recently had her new book, “Pavlov’s Cats and Thirty Other Short Takes from Mensa Monthlies” published.
It is a novelty collection of a variety of offerings, including observations, personal experiences and essays. The means of expression include prose, verse and short stories, according to RoseDog Books, the publishing company.
Tobin, who has written for numerous publications from Newsday to The New York Times, penned this 54-page paperback, which is selling for $11 retail.
