Harvest Festival at Options' Thrift Shop

PUMPKINS, HALLOWEEN COSTUMES, PLANTS AND CRAFTS AVAILABLE AT OPTIONS’ THRIFT SHOP’S HARVEST FESTIVAL

Options for Community Living’s Thrift Shop will host a Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visitors can purchase pumpkins to paint and embellish with decorative items that will be provided for free. Participants can receive fashion guidance to create distinctive Halloween costumes from among the many clothes and accessories available for purchase in the Options Thrift Shop. The Festival also will feature a plant and craft sale offering creative seasonal items that will be available for purchase. Options’ employees, along with students from SUNY Stony Brook’s Business Ethics Class, will be on hand to assist Harvest Festival guests with their pumpkin and costume creations.
