Long Island native and country music star Lisa Matassa described her upcoming gig on the "Freedomfest" tour as "a dream come true."
The singer interviewed with Examiner.com about the July 3 show, taking place at the Brookhaven Amphitheater in Farmingville.
"Some of the biggest artists in country music are going to be on that bill with me," Matassa told Examiner.com. "These singers include Dierks Bentley, Justin Moore, Jerrod Niemann, Jana Kramer and Dustin Lynch. I am so honored to be a part of this caliber of talent. It really is a dream come true for me."
Lisa added that she plans to sing "Sunrise Highway," "Me Time," "Wouldn't You Like to Know" and "Somebody's Baby" at the Farmingville show. Last year the Plainview native performed the National Anthem at the summer country music concert.
