This documentary chronicles America’s complicated perceptions of race and crime through the story of the Central Park Five, a group of minority teenagers wrongfully convicted of brutally raping a white woman. Intriguing, informative, sometimes controversial, but always thought provoking, this monthly series combines the best in film and discussion. Directed by Ken Burns & Sarah Burns.

Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry

One of the most famous contemporary artists in the world, Ai Weiwei has earned international acclaim as much for his provocative work as for his political activism. This documentary film chronicles Ai Weiwei as he prepares for a series of exhibitions and gets into an increasing number of clashes with the Chinese government. Directed by Alison Klayman. Chinese with English subtitles.
