Last weekend the Sachem community came down in droves for the Ronkonkoma St. Patrick's Day Parade, an afternoon event full of fun, fanfare and plenty of bagpipes.
The parade along Portion Road and Hawkins Avenue was packed with floats representing all the clubs and organizations the Sachem community has to offer. One such club: The Sachem Sports Club Cheerleaders. Kerri Smithers took the attached photo and few more of the cheerleaders proudly wearing the green.
