Labor Day Closures and Special Schedules In Sachem

In observance of Labor Day, several local institutions are closed and public transportation will be operating on a special schedule for the federal holiday.
Those closed include the Sachem Central School District and the US Post Office locations in the Sachem area.
The Long Island Rail Road will operate on a holiday schedule with train times listed on its website. All trains will be at off-peak rates.
The Suffolk County Transit (SCT) bus system will not be operating in the Sachem area on Labor Day.
