Looking for something to do with the kids? Read on for a sampling of events you all can enjoy.

It’s time for this week’s Grab & Go Kids Planner! We’re so happy to see you again! And to all you rookies out there, thanks for stopping by!

We know you’re pressed for time, so we’re happy to do the legwork; finding you the best things to do and places to go, both locally and within reasonable driving distance.

Last week we suggested watching wizards of the hardwood, getting a taste of Bieber-Fever, an indoor gaming extravaganza to beat the winter blues, and more.

But it’s a new week, and we’ve got new kid-friendly activities for you to check out.

Sleep amongst creatures from the deep blue sea, show off your culinary competence, spend some time at the theatre or check out the latest in firefighter/EMS technology. What do you want to do this time around? Pick and choose what to do from this week’s assortment of events.

FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

1. BLUE’S CLUES LIVE

Where/When: The Show Place at the Bellmore Movies, Bellmore; Friday (TODAY), 11 a.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.

Why Go: Watch as Blue, Steve and friends come to life in this fun show that is sure to please the kids! Performance is followed by a meet and greet with the cast!

Pricing: $10. Includes popcorn and soda. Tickets available online or by calling the Box Office at (516) 599-6870.

2. SLEEPOVER AT THE AQUARIUM

Where/When: Atlantis Marine World, Riverhead; Friday (TODAY), 6 p.m. – Saturday, 7 a.m.

Why Go: Ever wondered what the aquarium was like after dark? Now’s your chance to find out! Event fee includes fun activities, a bedtime snack, a movie, and a continental breakfast in the morning. Bring your own sleeping bag.

Pricing: $60 (plus tax) for non-members, $40 (plus tax) for members, Children 2 and under, free. Call 631.208.9200, ext. (426) to reserve your spot.

3. FIRE/EMS MEGA SHOW

Where/When: Nassau Coliseum Expo Center, Uniondale; Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Why Go: If you or your children are fascinated by firefighters, the live demonstrations and booths galore are sure to get your heart pumping.

Pricing: $14.50, Children 12 and under are free.

4. KIDS IN THE KITCHEN BAKE-OFF

Where/When: ; Saturday, 3 – 4:30 p.m.

Why Go: If you love to cook, love to eat, and love to play Bingo, you’ll understand why this is a can’t miss event.

Pricing: Free!

5. LES MISERABLES SCHOOL EDITION

Where/When: St. John’s University Centennial Hall, Oakdale; March 3 and 4 at 7 p.m., March 5 at 2 and 7 p.m., and March 6 at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: The cast is made up of actors between the ages of 10 and 18 in the premiere of this Kids for Kids production!
