It's a busy day as the region continues to recover from Hurricane Sandy and voters head to the polls, but if you can spare some time, you can help save a life.
A blood drive is being held in the Grundy Avenue Elementary School cafeteria from 3-9 p.m. to address blood shortages created by Sandy. The hurricane cancelled hundreds of blood drives across the country.
The drive was organized by the Grundy Avenue PTA. The school is located at 950 Grundy Avenue in Holbrook. You can schedule an appointment here.
