Today is the day to catch a movie at a Island 16 in Holtsville for a bargain basement price of $7.50. Check out the listings, head over to the theater and pretend its 2009 again, when movies prices averaged around $7.43 per ticket.

Mommy Meetup: Barnes & Noble
The Moms Club of Western Brookhaven is meeting up today at 11 a.m. for Story Time at the Barnes & Noble book store at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove. Today's story is "The Leaves Are Falling, Falling, Falling. Bring your toddler for this mommy meetup.

Jazzercise
The Take One Performing Arts Theater on Portion Road in Ronkonkoma is offering multiple Jazzercise classes today starting at 10 a.m.

Leaving Little Italy
Join Dr. Fred Gardaphe, Professor of Italian-American Studies at Queens College, at the Sachem Public Library tonight at 7 p.m. for a lecture. Dr. Gardaphe will dramatize the life and death of America's Little Italys, and present a case for the impact these changes have had on Italian-American culture. 

Town of Smithtown Meeting
The Smithtown Town Board will meet tonight to discuss joining a multi-municipal group intended to advocate for issues affecting Lake Ronkonkoma. So far, Brookhaven, Islip and Suffolk County have all joined the group, called the  Lake Ronkonkoma Watershed Intermunicipal Organization.
