Sachem East
Sachem East Field Hockey: We're giving the award to the entire field hockey team for their explosive start, shutout compilations and big victory over rival Ward Melville this week.

Steven Casali, Football: We'll try not to give the honor to Casali every week, even though he'll be in the running, but his career-high 240 yards and three touchdowns (50, 68 and 57 yards) propelled Sachem East to their third straight win.

Kelly Lavan, Cross Country: Lavan is gearing up for another strong season with Sachem. She won in her 3-mile race against Connetquot this week.
Dalton Crossan, Football: Just like with Casali above, it's hard not to pick Crossan for North, but we'll try our best to spread it out. It's difficult to overlook 22 carries, 192 yards and three touchdowns. The last 21-yard touchdown also helped put the game away with 1:38 left in a 25-14 win over rival West Islip.
