Pandolf Earns CAA Player of Week Honors

Lead Hofstra to win over nationally-ranked Notre Dame.

Sachem alum and Hofstra junior goalie Jackie Pandolf earned Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week honors after the Pride beat No. 17 Notre Dame, 10-9, on Sunday in its lone game last week.

Pandolf, who shared the award with Kelly Custer of Towson, continued her stellar play this season as she was outstanding down the stretch to allow the Pride to complete the comeback and stun the Fighting Irish.

Pandolf had a game-high 11 saves, including several from point blank range late in the contest as Hofstra was still mounting its comeback.  Pandolf also added a game and career-high nine ground balls vs. Notre Dame and tied for team-high honors with a pair of caused turnovers.
