Job Postings in Sachem, September 25

Once again available positions remain out there, but not in abundance. Part time and seasonal work is more prevalent than full time positions, which is a good sign for younger workers but not everyone else. Here is a look at some of the jobs currently posted on the internet:

Stock Crew: Toys “R” Us in Holbrook is accepting applications for its stock crew team. Position requires working off hours and engaging in physically demanding activities. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and climb ladders required. Knowledge of shipping and receiving process preferred.

Receptionist: Organized individual with excellent multi-tasking skills is needed  to fill an open receptionist position with CB Richard Ellis in Holtsville. High school diploma or equivalent needed. Responsibilities vary, but include answering main switchboard, route incoming calls, assist with scheduling, and handle various office administrative tasks.

Tile Helper: Small company in Ronkonkoma looking for an experienced tile helper. Loading tiles, grout, mixing mud, and preparing job sites are all part of position. Traveling on Long Island involved. Pay between $12 and $18 per hour. Will train the right person.

Project Manager Professional: Motorola in Holtsville seeks specialized project manager. Extensive experience with costumer’s network, software, electrical and mechanical engineering needed is a must.

Psychologist: MTCA, a provider of treatment for memory impairment to seniors, seeks a licensed Psychologist for its centers in both Holbrook and Bay Shore. Position boasts a flexible schedule and excellent income potential. NY license, proper Ph.D, and good communication skills required.

Halloween Help: There are a few locations in the Sachem area looking for in-store Halloween help including Party City on Middle Country Road in Centereach and Halloween City in Lake Grove. These are part-time position and great for individuals with a flexible schedule. Apply in person at the store for the position with Party City.

Fuel Oil Drivers: Quality Burner Services in Holtsville is gearing up for the winter season as it looks to add fuel oil drivers. Part, full, and seasonal work available. Weekends required, as well as a clean driver’s license and a CDL, Class B license.

Customer Service Rep: U-Haul in Holbrook has a part-time opening for a customer service representative. Responsible for safe, accurate and efficient receiving and stocking of in-bound freight. Strong customer service skills needed for dealing with clients on the phone and in person.

Secondary School Teachers: Having trouble trying to find a teaching job? Current subjects available are in mathematics, science, English and social studies.
