Jaclyn Pandolf Named CAA Player of the Week

Made 16 saves for Hofstra in season-opening win against Colgate.

Sachem alum and Hofstra senior goalie Jaclyn Pandolf was named the Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week.

Pandolf, from Holbrook, N.Y., opened the 2012 season in style with 16 saves, including nine in the second half, to lead the Pride to a 9-8 victory over Colgate on Sunday.

Pandolf also had three ground balls in the game and for good measure she made a save with just two seconds remaining to preserve the win.
